In life and work one thing is true: perfection can only be found through imperfection. Handmade objects are not totally precise and this creates an aesthetic invitation to touch, view and linger. The essence of the form evokes emotions, and the glazes provide contrast and life while guaranteeing functionality.  Their application however is reduced to the minimum essential so that ash, sand and clay surface details emerge all the more clearly.
